Pine Seedlings, Twelve Mile Swamp, Florida. 2020
Pine seedlings grow through high water in northeast Florida. The headwaters to six tributaries, Twelve Mile Swamp is a conservation area composed of wetlands, cypress swamps and pine uplands. Water flows into six major creeks that empty into the Tolomato and Matanzas rivers. The water holding and filtering benefits of these swamps is vital to the health of St. Johns County waterways.
